James Ford at St. Joachim Catholic Church; Volume 1, Book 18, Page 58.  Served in 35th Reg. Co. K. during the Civil War.  Enlisted August 15, 1862 at Sulphur Springs, MO.  Mustered in December 3, 1862 at Helena, AR.  He was a private under Captain Cooper. Buried in Old St. Joachim Catholic Cemetery.  Tombstone says: Co. K, 35th MO Inf.

Baptismal information: by John Cotter at St. Joachim Catholic Church; sponsors were Peter Paul Robert and Olympe Range; Book 2, Page 255 (1) O.M.  Buried in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.  Also found name as Emilia Hypolite Robere. Information from Shirley Buirch in October 1982; death record for Clarissa Landers; Census records for 1850, 1860 and 1870.
